David J. Carlson, MD, FACS

Dr. David Carlson has practiced General Surgery in Evansville for over 35 years and has broad experience managing minor and major injuries. He is a graduate of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and completed his General Surgey residency at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He has served as President of the Vanderburgh County Medical Society, President of the Indiana Chapter of the American College of Surgeons, and President of Evansville Surgical Associates. Dr. Carlson retired from the United States Army Reserve Medical Corp with the rank of Colonel. He served in Operation Desert Storm and also in Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 67th Combat Support Hospital in Mosul, Iraq.

Jami R. Carlson

Jami Carlson was raised in Owensboro, Kentucky, and has called Indiana home for the last 25 years. She is the mother of three children and has been active in PTA, Band Boosters, and many local civic organizations. She has served as President of the Vanderburgh Medical Alliance and is a member of the Indiana State Medical Alliance, Jami brings over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including administation and systems development, medical coding, and chart review for quality improvement. She received her degree in Community Health Education from Indiana University, and is currently pursuing her Masters in epidemiology.
